Lamington Natl Park

After leaving Surfer's Paradise at midday, we headed inland to a national park, located in the mountains between Brisbane and the coast. The park is called Lamington National Park. The following pictures show our climb in elevation, and the pretty scenery that we encountered along the way.

The cows added a little challenge to our ascent to the top ...









At the top, we got to hike through the woods, and climb up to some treetop look-outs, as shown below.

Here are some Wallabies that we met on the drive down the mountain. Unfortunately, none of the pictures are all that great - but is was fun to see so many - it's like Australia was living up to our expectations.
